Linda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 24 years of experience working with adults in outpatient settings. She believes in creating a compassionate, positive, supportive environment while providing a safe, healthy setting for clients to explore their own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to gain insight and self-acceptance. Client-centered therapy focuses on mindfully gaining coping skills necessary to manage life challenges and building confidence to reach their goals. Linda has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, mindfulness and stress reduction. She has a special interest in working with women having difficulty with changing roles and expectations in their current lives while resolving painful issues from their past.
