Private Anxiety Treatment

Each of the Highland Springs private anxiety treatment centers in Utah and Idaho follows a mind/body/spirit perspective in our treatment protocol where we actively involve the client throughout the entire course of counseling for anxiety. The anxiety treatment protocol is highly interactive, so communication between a client and their anxiety therapist, as well as some homework, is required in between counseling sessions.

Our anxiety therapists administer a treatment combination of medication, psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety disorders. This consists of meditation, relaxation therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Anxiety counseling at Highland Springs is highly effective as a result of incorporating all three practices.

EMDR Therapy for Anxiety Treatment In Utah and Idaho

EMDR therapy is a form of psychotherapy that has been proven to be highly effective for a variety of disorders. Our anxiety therapists have found success in applying EMDR to the treatment protocol for anxiety therapy. A therapist guides their client with a bar of light that pulses based on the client’s own rapid, rhythmic eye movement. This has been shown to help clients uncover and process past traumatic events, so they can begin the healing process.
