Based primarily in Utah, with locations in Boise, ID, and Gilbert, AZ, Highland Springs Specialty Clinic is a state-of-the-art behavioral health network of clinics that provide multi-specialty, outpatient services for a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction recovery. The overall mission is to significantly improve the lives of the families and individuals we serve across the lifespan and help them find happiness.
As a therapist within this role, one’s job responsibilities include:
My name is Timothy Champlin. I am the Senior Attending Clinician at Highland Springs Specialty Clinic. Since I was a teenager I knew I wanted to do something to work with people and something I felt like was meaningful. My best friend’s dad is an LSCW and as I talked to him more about it it felt like a great thing for me to pursue.
The culture of the work environment is essential to the happiness of the staff and the quality of care provided. I have had jobs that were incredibly difficult and the positive work environment helped me in taking care of the difficult things and staying a lot longer than I would have. It also affects the clients wanting care there. I love the balance of working with and supporting my clients and supporting the awesome employees I get to work with. Highland Springs is the biggest organization I’ve worked for but I also feel like communication is a huge strength. I also have always felt like Highland Springs is confident in their employees and encourages growth and provides consistent support in that.
