Cary Shelton is an LCSW with over 25 years of experience helping individuals and families with a wide variety of mental health and relationship challenges including depression, anxiety, sexual addictions, faith crises, and grief. He has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, and Solution-Focused therapies and with the Gottman approach to couples counseling, but mainly tries to fit his approach to what his clients need. Tim grew up in central Massachusetts and has lived in Utah since 2008. He received his bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Utah Valley University in 2015 and his master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah in 2016. Tim loves finding ways to connect with clients and helping them discover their personal strengths. He believes that everyone is the hero of their own story and can overcome the various obstacles in their lives.
