Richard’s great passion is bringing the empowerment of healing to people who are suffering from addiction or are suffering due to having been through a traumatic/stressful experience (or both). He helps clients, who include children and adolescents, adults, couples and families, to lessen the impact of substances by helping them find and process their core issues, thus discovering and nurturing healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthening their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe. His educational background includes an MFA in Child Drama/development, an M.Ed. in Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah, an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and certification in Trauma Focused-CBT.
