Nicole Melling, APRN

Nicole is a Master’s level licensed advanced practice nurse practitioner who has been working and specializing in mental health for over 14 years. Nicole’s approach to mental health takes a holistic view of health across all aspects of the individual and family. Since adopting a sibling group of 5 children from foster care in 2011, Nicole’s particular passion is supporting individuals and families who have experienced trauma in moving through their healing journey.

She loves to work with children and adolescents and to educate people of all ages to support them in making healthcare choices in accordance with their values that will empower them to reach their full potential. Nicole has additional training and certification working in addiction which can be a cause as well as a symptom of trauma.
Nicole started working in healthcare in 1997 as a home-health aid and CNA. She started her nursing career in 2007 and worked with troubled adolescents in residential care until pursuing graduate studies in 2016. Nicole received her Associates’s, Bachelors’s, and Masters’s degrees in nursing from Weber State University and has an additional Bachelor’s degree from BYU. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, DIY home-projects, and breeding miniature Labradoodles.
