Julie came to the world of counseling after she realized her dream of changing the world through film was more then she could achieve on her own. She has turned that passion for discovering and helping heal the stories and worlds of people one person or family at a time. Julie has worked with diverse populations throughout her career and has experience working with depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, abuse, trauma, and more. She has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has worked with a number of children and adolescents employing this method. She is fluent in Spanish and feels blessed to bring healing to that community as well. Julie strives to increase her knowledge and experience within the Counseling world so that she can provide her clients with the help and healing they seek in their lives.
