Javier provides treatment to adults and adolescents (14+) who struggle with anxiety, depression, addiction (substance use/alcohol, pornography, gambling), trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, faith crises/transitions, and young adult issues. He has experience working with couples, military veterans, court-ordered clients, EAP/workplace-mandated clients, the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals who seek a multi-cultural perspective. Javier utilizes Rational-Emotive & Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (RE&CBT), Insight Oriented Therapy, the Transtheoretical Model, and Motivational Interviewing in therapy. He received his Masters of Social Work from Brigham Young University in 2013.
