You might be feeling ‘out of control’ or weighed down by symptoms of anxiety and depression. You could be struggling with self-esteem or unsure of your life’s purpose. Maybe you are ready to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and wanting to process unresolved issues that are inhibiting your growth and potential. These feelings and experiences are natural when experiencing the ebbs and flows of life, and it is my goal to help you work with and through them.
I integrate mindfulness and creative interventions with elements of cognitive behavioral, existential, and humanistic therapies to help you navigate the complexities of life. I help my clients identify goals, challenge existing and learn new perspectives, integrate strategies, and take active steps toward healing and growth. I aim to foster an environment of compassion, acceptance, and nonjudgment where you can express and explore yourself exactly as you are. In my practice, I have gained the knowledge, education, and experience in working with an array of mental health issues across the lifespan, such as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, adjustment/transition issues, and relational/familial conflict.
You did it! You sought out support, and you made the first step to connecting yourself to someone who can collaboratively help you develop a deeper understanding of you. Working with a counselor isn’t easy, and it takes tremendous courage, strength, and vulnerability to open yourself and your life to another person. I feel honored to be a part of this first step of healing and growth, and I hope to continue to be part of your exploration as you select a counselor that fits.
