Brennan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides treatment to adolescents and adults ages 14 and older across a wide range of issues. Brennan graduated with honors from the University of Utah in 2015 with a Masters degree in Social work. Brennan believes effective therapy is rooted in the professional relationship and has a wide array of treatment experience to facilitate healing.
Brennan is known for being highly relatable, meeting you where you’re at with issues, demonstrating high interest, unconditional positive regard and excellent listening and empathy to those he serves. He uses best practice modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Grief and Loss Processing, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT. Brennan recently obtained Official Level I Training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy for more in-depth work with individuals on various issues and traumas.
Brennan’s area of treatment include Mood Disorders, ADHD, PTSD, Trauma and Dysfunction caused by family issues, Anger Management, Childhood and Adult trauma, Bereavement, Marital conflict, Phase of Life issues, LGBTQIA+, Addictions and Substance use, and personality disorders. Brennan has 12 years of experience working with the Serious and Persistent mental illness and substance using population in high-acuity Residential setting and Outpatient settings.
Brennan also has experience working as a Medical social worker in a Skilled Nursing Facility confronting issues including grief and loss, failing health, end of life care and related family dynamics. Brennan chose a career in Social Work, in part, due to his own experiences as a youth with family dysfunction, trauma, mental health matters, and addiction. He wishes to dedicate his career to working with others and walking with them to find relief and wellness.
